Advantages of regular drainage kerbs
By integrating the drainage system into the drainage kerbs, this bridge could be made 30 cm slimmer. There were also advantages in terms of maintenance, as the drainage system could be realised entirely on the bridge deck. In addition, 300% weight was saved in the drainage kerb line.
